Barbara moved to the South Hams with her husband and dog Alfie two and a half years ago from South London and is currently a Parish Councillor in Modbury. She started her professional career as a Registered nurse and District nurse and then went on to manage a range of services in the health service, including District Nursing, Health Visitors and Hospital services before moving to the Charity Sector. Barbara has over 20 years’ experience in the Voluntary Sector with both small and large Charities as CEO and Trustee. Prior to her move to Devon, she was involved with Merton CVS and Social Prescribing Services. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD).
Barbara has two boys, a lovely daughter in law and a 2-year-old grandson still living in London.
