Trustee Vacancies

Trustees needed to support our work 

South Hams Community Action supports the incredible work of our voluntary organisations across the South Hams District. We also have a health and wellbeing team working directly with residents.

 Our Board of Trustees is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the organisation. For all of our trustees, we look for great interpersonal skills, integrity, sound independent judgement and decision making. Compassionate leadership and collaboration skills are essential, to provide oversight and governance support for the organisation, and to support our Chief Executive Officer and the team. Our trustees serve on a voluntary basis, meeting about four times a year, with additional responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis. 

We are especially looking for candidates with experience/expertise in human resources, health and safety, finance, fundraising and communications.
