About Us

South Hams Community and Voluntary Services (CVS) helps local voluntary and community groups to flourish. We are a support and development organisation, promoting and encouraging local voluntary activity. We do this by providing a range of services, often in partnership with other members of Devon Voluntary Action.

We are a registered charitable company and are based in offices in Totnes but work across the South Hams area. We are supported by a number of funders, including South Hams District Council and Devon County Council.

South Hams CVS team work hard to encourage voluntary and community activity, supporting groups in sharing knowledge and expertise, communities to find and deliver their own solutions, often in partnership, and individuals to access volunteering opportunities.
